Program · Metabolic & Weight

GLP-1 medication is the easy part. Keeping the result is the program.

Medically supervised weight management with GLP-1 therapy, built around protecting muscle, managing side effects, and knowing in advance what happens when you come off.

Clinician reviewing body-composition trends with a patient during a medical weight-loss program

A program, not a prescription mill.

Anyone can send you a pen in the mail. What that leaves out is the part that determines whether you keep the result: a metabolic baseline, a titration plan that limits side effects, protein and resistance-training targets that protect lean mass, and a defined maintenance phase.

We prescribe GLP-1 medication when it is clinically appropriate, review eligibility and contraindications carefully, and tell you plainly what the medication does and does not do.

What we measure

Baseline
A1c, fasting glucose and insulin, lipid panel with ApoB, thyroid, liver and kidney function
Body
Weight, waist circumference (cm), body composition where available
Titration
Stepwise dose increases with side-effect review at each step
Muscle
Daily protein target and a resistance-training minimum, set at week one
Maintenance
A written plan for dose reduction or stopping, agreed before you reach goal

How the year is structured.

  1. Weeks 1–4

Baseline labs, medication started at the lowest dose, nutrition and training targets set, side-effect plan in hand.

  2. Months 2–3

Titration on schedule with regular check-ins. Most side effects appear and resolve in this window.

  3. Months 4–9

Steady phase. Labs repeated, lean mass monitored, dose adjusted to the lowest effective level.

  4. Maintenance

Dose reduction or structured stop, with the habits and training that hold the result in place.

Straight answers

GLP-1 medications are prescription drugs with real side effects and real contraindications, and they are not appropriate for everyone. Weight regain after stopping is common, which is why maintenance is part of the program rather than an afterthought. We will review your full medical history, discuss which medication is appropriate, and explain the difference between FDA-approved products and compounded alternatives before anything is prescribed.

FAQ

Questions, answered plainly.

How much weight will I lose?

It varies by person, medication, dose and what you do alongside it. We set an expected range with you at the consultation, based on your baseline and the published evidence, rather than a headline number.

Will I lose muscle?

Some lean mass loss is expected with any significant weight loss. Protein targets and resistance training are in the program specifically to limit it, and we monitor body composition where available.

What if the side effects are bad?

Tell us early. Most nausea and gastrointestinal effects are managed by adjusting the titration schedule, and that is a conversation, not a reason to quit.

Do you work with my primary care physician?

Yes. With your consent we share labs and the plan, which matters if you take other medications.
