What we can prove, what we are testing, and what we will not claim.
Regenerative medicine attracts both serious clinicians and people selling hope. The way to tell them apart is to ask what gets measured, what gets documented, and what the clinic says when a treatment does not work.

Five commitments.
- Measure before, measure after.
Every program has a baseline and a scheduled review. Photographs are taken in the same frame and lighting; labs are drawn under the same conditions; pain and function are recorded on validated scales.
- Write it down.
You leave the consultation with a written protocol: what we are doing, how often, what it costs, and what would make us change course.
- Say no when the answer is no.
Not every patient is a candidate. We would rather refer you to a surgeon, dermatologist or endocrinologist than sell you a program that cannot help.
- Describe the evidence accurately.
Several therapies we offer are not FDA-approved for these indications. We say so, we explain what the research does and does not currently show, and we discuss alternatives with longer track records.
- Coordinate with your physician.
With your consent, your primary care physician receives your labs and treatment plan. Optimization medicine that ignores the rest of your care is not medicine.
The clinic. Nuvex is a physician-led regenerative medicine clinic serving Columbus and central Ohio. Our medical director oversees every protocol, and treatments are performed or directly supervised by licensed clinical staff. Consultations are unhurried by design. Thirty minutes is enough time to examine, explain and answer questions properly, and enough time for you to decide whether you trust the people in the room.
The people in the room.
Every treatment is performed or directly supervised by our medical director and licensed clinical staff, under written protocols.

Questions, answered plainly.
Do I have to commit to a package at the consultation?
No. The consultation exists to work out whether a program makes sense for you. You'll leave with a written plan and pricing, and you're free to take it home.
Are these treatments covered by insurance?
Most regenerative and optimization services aren't covered. We provide itemized documentation you can submit to an HSA or FSA where eligible, and we offer financing through CareCredit, Cherry, Alphaeon and Sunbit.
What if I'm not a good candidate?
We'll tell you, explain why, and where appropriate refer you to an orthopedic surgeon, dermatologist, endocrinologist or primary care physician.
Who performs the treatments?
All treatments are performed or directly supervised by our medical director and licensed clinical staff, under written protocols.
How long is the first visit?
Plan on an hour. The consultation itself is thirty minutes, plus paperwork and any labs or photography done the same day.
Can I get labs drawn at the clinic?
Yes. Baseline panels are drawn on site in most cases, and results are reviewed with you rather than emailed without explanation.
